Home Entertainment Plasma, LCD and HD Screens

Plasmas, LCD's, Wide & Flat Screens

What are Plasma and LCD Wide-screens & Flat-screens?

Plasma, LCD, HD widescreen and flatscreen televisions are advanced slim-line flat panel display units that offer numerous advantages over traditional television sets.

Plasma screens (also known as PDP, or Plasma Display Screens) are generally only available in large TV displays (32” and larger). LCD screens (Liquid Crystal Display) began life designed for smaller use. Now the difference is more marginal. There are arguably advantages to LCD flat panel displays over Plasma and vice versa – the bottom line is that it’s about what suits your home cinema or general home entertainment needs.

What are the benefits of Plasma and LCD Wide-screens & Flat-screens?

Plasma and LCD widescreen and flatscreen televisions are a stylish asset to any smart home.
Typically only a few inches deep, Plasma and LCD flats-screens can be free-standing, wall-mounted, recessed into walls or furniture, lowered from ceilings or rise up from within floors or furniture. This reduced bulk can enhance the minimalist feel of a room, create a more professional look and enable the screen to be either a feature or easily concealed.

Because of their flat screens, Plasma and LCD HD Widescreen televisions have wider viewing angles than traditional televisions, offering greater possibilities for viewing positions.
Widescreen television offers a more cinematic feel to any visual experience; all the more appropriate when considering a dedicated home cinema room.

Which Plasma and LCD Wide-screens & Flat-screens do we offer?

The Integrators provide a range of High Definition (1080p HD screen) Plasma and LCD widescreen televisions from three leading flat-screen manufacturers: Panasonic, Philips and Pioneer.

The Pioneer Kuro range of LCD and Plasma flat-screen televisions takes you from a 32” screen to a massive 60” screen. From the Kuro range, the KRL-32V 32” LCD Full HD TV features automatic backlight adjustment function for enhanced black levels and deep, accurate colours, while an additional ambient light sensor optimises on-screen images according to the brightness of your room. Its already wide viewing angle of 176 degrees is enhanced by an optional swivel base, providing 360 degree flexibility.
At the other end of the scale, the KRP-600A 60-inch HD Ready 1080p has integrated digital terrestrial and satellite tuner built in and four HDMI (High Definition Media Interface) inputs that enable a quick and convenient connection to a broad range of source devices. It’s perfect for home cinema use or for integration into a home telephone / data network, allowing content from a number of connected video servers.

The Panasonic Viera range of LCD and plasma televisions starts at the 26” TX-L26X10 HD LCD TV, suitable for multi-room home networking, right up to the 50” TX-P50G10 Full HD Plasma TV, which features Panasonic’s NeoPDP technology – a new flat screen plasma panel which achieved a good enough cinematic effect to achieve the THX certificate for best movie and cinema experience.

Philips supply an impressive array of LCD and Plasma screen TVs to fit all sizes and shapes of rooms, from a 37” LCD featuring Ambilight technology (the television frame produces ambient light to complement the changing content on the screen to stimulate relaxed viewing and improved perception of images), to the world’s first cinema-proportioned television, the Cinema 21:9. It’s a 56" ultra-wide television screen with original 21:9 ratio film format, completely distortion-free. What better television for a home cinema experience?
